The MFA Report

The MFA Report is a consolidated report on the complete MFA setup of a Microsoft Tenant's environment that is protected either through native Microsoft MFA enforcement methods or Duo MFA.

The Report is primarily used by partners for these 4 reasons:

  1. To identify users that do not have MFA enforced.

  2. To identify users that are enforced for MFA but are not yet Protected because it is not enforced and they could unregister themselves.

  3. To identify weaker MFA methods such as Phone/SMS.

  4. To share the ongoing MFA status with the tenant through the 'Scheduled Reports' feature.

The Report displays the following information per employee:

  • Full Name and Email Address

  • License Type

  • Role

  • MFA Configuration - Is MFA required?

    • Conditional Access

    • Per-User MFA (Microsoft Legacy MFA)

    • Security Defaults

    • Duo & Conditional Access

  • MFA Status

    • Protected - MFA is required & user has registered

    • Not Protected - MFA is either not required or user has not registered

    • Sign-in Blocked - Account cannot be accessed and while not compliant to MFA it is safe

  • MFA Authentication type

    • Authentication App

    • Phone/SMS

    • Security Key

    • Other
