Windows Agent:
The typical install path is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Augmentt\browser_agent

Logs are located in the \logs folder. The log files will help you confirm if data was successfully collected by the agent and if it is experiencing issues submitting the data

To confirm that the agent was installed using the proper License Key, to ensure the data is being collected under the appropriate tenant, open BrowserAgent.exe.Config in an editor

Locate <add key="CompanyId" value="{license_key}" /> and ensure it matches the license key displayed in Discover > Agent for the same company

Application Usage:

For data to appear in the application usage report, the user profile data submitted by the agent must be mapped to an employee within the Agent page.

Submitting Support Requests:

When submitting a support request for Discover data collection issues, please include

  • Customer information

  • Latest log file from device

  • BrowserAgent.exe.Config from device

  • Windows profile name of the user

  • Windows device name

  • Employee name/email in Augmentt
